What are soft ears?
Soft ears are foam side pieces that protect your ears for paintball masks. They're a great upgrade to personalize your mask, give it more style, and make it more unique. Here you can see the difference between hard and soft ears. I have highlighted the edges of the soft ears in yellow and hard ears in purple.
What benefits do soft ears offer?
Soft ears offer several benefits over hard ears. First of all, soft ears are foam, hard ears are stiff rubber and/or plastic. With soft ears on your mask you can actually take a hit in the soft ear and have it bounce, keeping you in the game longer. Soft ears, as the name implies, are made of a soft foam, that is extremely comfortable on your ears and face. The more comfortable you are playing paintball, the more you can concentrate on the game and the better you play.
So your soft ears are reversible, what's that all about?
Each soft ear is made up of two halves, one half is one color or pattern (Group A), the other half is a second color or pattern (Group B). For example, if you order Gold/Purple soft ears, you can wear the soft ears as gold on the outside, or you can flip them to the opposite side and use purple.
What masks do your soft ears fit?
The Proflex soft ears are made to fit the JT Proflex, Flex, Flex 7, Flex IZE, Spectra, and other JT masks that can accept soft ears. The E-Vent soft ears are made to fit the Empire E-Vent. It is also popular to mod a V-Force, Dye, Proto, or almost any other brand of mask to take soft ears. If you are modding another brand mask to take soft ears, I recommend using Proflex soft ears.
How do I install my new soft ears?

How do I clean my soft ears?
Softearmods.com soft ears are very easy to clean, just run them under warm water and wipe dry with a soft towel. Do not soak or submerge in water for an extended period of time, it may cause the adhesive between the two layers to weaken.
Why do you make these soft ears?
Softearmods.com makes custom soft ears so you can customize your mask to the fullest. We wanted something much more exciting than JT's plain black soft ears.
Why should I buy your soft ears over JT's soft ears?
JT's soft ears come in a small series of colors. With Softearmods.com custom soft ears, mask customization is expanded, you now can have custom color and pattern soft ears. You can buy soft ears that match your new colorful JT lens frame or bottom (a.k.a. "grill"). Additionally, our soft ears are reversible, just like a reversible jersey. You can wear red soft ears one day, then flip them and wear white soft ears the next day. It's that easy.
How long does it take to get soft ears?
Often times, we can have your soft ears made and shipped out within a few business days. The sooner your order is placed, the faster it's processed and shipped. You can always email us for an update on your order, be sure to include the order's Paypal Transaction ID # in your email.
Can I get soft ears shipped to Europe?
Yes you can, we are now shipping worldwide. All orders being shipped outside of the U.S. must remember to add the $5.00 international delivery charge to their order, this speeds up the processing of your order and you'll receive your soft ears that much quicker!
