Carbon Fiber Application Tips

Surface Preparation

All parts must be cleaned before application. For most plastic and metal parts, wipe down with rubbing alcohol. Rinse the part thoroughly and dry.

Application

Heat the carbon fiber with a hairdryer on low to medium heat as you apply, this makes it conform to almost all curves. Take your time applying the carbon fiber to your part, do not rush the application.

Removing bubbles

Do not push down on the bubble to flatten it. Instead, use a sharp needle and gently puncture the bubble. If the bubble is large make multiple punctures. Heat the bubble with a hairdryer and it will start to shrink. To finish, press the remaining portion of the bubble down.
